About us

Our Vision

Our vision is to ensure the health and well-being of our patients and their owners. The goal of our staff is to educate our clients on preventative health care for their special companions. We are proud to offer the very best in veterinary medicine.

Although the clinics have grown and developed over the years, the one thing that has remained constant is the love, compassion, and dedication the doctors and staff have for the animals in our community.

Information about our clinics

Churchville Veterinary Clinic (CVC) was started in 1971 by Dr. Richard Streett, Jr. Over the years the practice has changed with the population. Originally a mixed practice, we became an exclusively small animal practice in 1976. In 1998, Dr. Dan Hopkins and Dr. Paula Winters became partners, and in 2006, Dr. Rich Streett joined the team.

Greenbrier Veterinary Clinic (GVC) was opened in Bel Air on November 1, 2000 as a satellite clinic of Churchville Veterinary Clinic.

Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic (SCVC), located in historic Havre de Grace, MD, was opened on July 30, 2007. It opened as our third location in Harford County.

We strive to continue to provide high quality medical and surgical care to all of our patients at all three locations.

Churchville Pet Resort and Four-Footed Friends Shoppe and Salon, located at our Churchville location, is our full service boarding facility and pet salon. We have been serving the boarding and grooming needs of Harford County, Cecil County, and the surrounding community for over 30 years!

General Policies

Our doctor’s visits are by appointment only. This enables us to serve you better and will limit your waiting time. We are also available to see ill or injured animals as work-ins in our daily schedule.

If you prefer to see a particular doctor, please designate that at the time you make your appointment.

Please note that animals worked in for illness or injury will be seen in a timely fashion by the available doctor.

If our hours conflict with your schedule, you may also call and setup a drop-off appointment. Drop-off appointments allow you to leave your pet with us while you take care of your daily commitments. We will be sure to keep your pet happy and comfortable. During their stay, we will address any concerns you may have whether it is routine vaccinations or if your pet is not feeling well.

We ask that all pets enter our clinic on a leash or in a carrier. This is for their protection as well as that of our clients.

Inquiries regarding animals hospitalized overnight should be made after 9:00am to enable our staff to evaluate them for any changes in their condition. In case of an unexpected change in your pet’s condition, the staff will contact you as soon as possible.

Our doctor’s and staff will gladly discuss how your pet is doing and answer any questions you may have. Please be sure to leave a phone number where you may be reached at all times!

Payment

All of our hospitals strive to provide you and your pet with the best care possible. In order to allow us to continue to provide a high level of care for all of our patients, we do request that payment be received when services are rendered. We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. An estimate of costs may be provided upon request.
