Have You Signed Up for Pet Portals?
We are excited to offer Pet Portals for your pets! Pet Portals are like a personal web page for your own pet(s) which will give you access to your own pet's information, vaccine history, as well as links to educational materials. You can also request and confirm appointments, and ask for medicine refills to be filled at our office for pick up! This service will also send you email reminders for when services for your pet(s) come due! If you would like to sign up for this service, just call the office, give us your email address, and we'll take care of the rest!
Have you heard of the Canine Flu virus??!!
There is a new influenza virus that is affecting dogs throughout the U.S. It is a highly contagious virus that can cause respiratory illness in dogs only. Most dogs will get sneezing, coughing, and fever, but it can progress to more serious illnesses including pneumonia. Dogs that spend time around other dogs ie)dog parks, day care, boarding, grooming, etc. are at high risk! There is a vaccine which we are recommending for higher risk dogs to provide them with protection against this virus! Be aware that any canine patients boarding with us are required to have this vaccine. Please call the office to discuss this further and to see if your dog should receive this important immunity!!
If you are interested in boarding your pet(s) during the holidays, be sure to reserve your spot early as we book up fast!!!!
Also, ask us to double check your pets’ vaccination status, so that we can be sure your pet has all required vaccinations prior to staying with us! Don’t hesitate to inquire about a bath or grooming to pamper your buddy while they are there!
