Dr. Shannon Kauffman was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Indianapolis.  After graduation, she worked as a veterinary assistant in a 24-hour small animal emergency hospital.  She them moved to Ireland to pursue her degree in Veterinary Medicine at University College Dublin, where she graduated in 2020 and started working at Churchville.  Her interests include travel, reading, crochet, and spending time with her husband and Border Collie, Stratus and cat, Vinnie.
