THIS YEAR MARKS 40 YEARS OF CARE TO THE PETS OF HARFORD COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT THROUGH THE YEARS!!!
WINNER OF 2009 HARFORD AWARD!!!
Churchville Veterinary Clinic (CVC) was started in 1971 by Dr. Richard Streett, Jr. Over the years the practice has changed with the population. Originally a mixed practice, we became an exclusively small animal practice in 1976. In 1998, Dr. Dan Hopkins and Dr. Paula Winters became partners, and in 2006, Dr. Rich Streett joined the team. In November of 2000, Greenbrier Veterinary Clinic (GVC) was opened in Bel Air as a satellite clinic of Churchville Veterinary Clinic. Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic (SCVC), located in historic Havre de Grace, MD, was opened on July 30, 2007. It opened as our third location in Harford County.
Churchville, Greenbrier, and Swan Creek are companion animal facilities that offer high quality medical and surgical care to all of our patients. Churchville Pet Resort and Four-Footed Friends Shoppe and Salon, located at our Churchville location, is our full service boarding facility and pet salon. We also offer a retail supply shop, behavior consultations, and a variety of puppy and dog training programs. For the past 30 years we have been providing care to our furry friends in the surrounding community, and we look forward to continuing to enhance our level of care for years to come!!

–>Have you heard of the Canine Flu virus??!! There is a new influenza virus that is affecting dogs throughout the U.S. It is a highly contagious virus that can cause respiratory illness in dogs only. Most dogs will get sneezing, coughing, and fever, but it can progress to more serious illnesses including pneumonia. Dogs that spend time around other dogs ie)dog parks, day care, boarding, grooming, etc. are at high risk! There is a vaccine which we are recommending for higher risk dogs to provide them with protection against this virus! Be aware that any canine patients boarding with us are required to have this vaccine. Please call the office to discuss this further and to see if your dog should receive this important immunity!!
–Puppy & Good Manners Training Classes have been temporarily discontinued. We hope to have these beneficial classes restarting soon. We’ll keep you posted!
–If you are interested in boarding your pet(s) during the holidays, be sure to reserve your spot early!!!! Also, ask us to double check your pets’ vaccination status, so that we can be sure your pet has all required vaccinations prior to staying with us!
