We are excited to announce that our offices were one of 5 winners for the 2009 Harford Awards!!!! Congratulations to all of our doctors and staff who are an integral part of our success. Also, a special thanks to all of our wonderful pet owners who take such great care of their pets!!!

–>Have you heard of the Canine Flu virus??!! There is a new influenza virus that is affecting dogs throughout the U.S. It is a highly contagious virus that can cause respiratory illness in dogs only. Most dogs will get sneezing, coughing, and fever, but it can progress to more serious illnesses including pneumonia. Dogs that spend time around other dogs ie)dog parks, day care, boarding, grooming, etc. are at high risk! There is a vaccine which we are recommending for higher risk dogs to provide them with protection against this virus! In addition, we will be requiring this vaccine for dogs staying with us for boarding as of January 1, 2010. Please call the office to discuss this further and to see if your dog should receive this important immunity!!

–If you are interested in boarding your pet(s) during the holidays, be sure to reserve your spot early!!!! Also, ask us to double check your pets’ vaccination status, so that we can be sure your pet has all required vaccinations prior to staying with us!
